TNT Bridge The Gap

To our loving patrons and friends, as many of you know we here at Trumbull New Theater are a small, independently-run theatre dedicated to providing a safe space for many to explore their love of the arts and put on performances for our community. It deeply saddens us that due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), our only viable option for now has been to close our doors and hope for the best. It is uncertain if and/or when we will be able to open our doors again.  So, we would like to take this time to thank every single one of you who has supported us before in any way, shape, or form.

GoFundMe Charity has launched the #GivingTuesdayNow Match Program to give every nonprofit the opportunity to rally support for its cause in the face of COVID-19.  They will also make a $1,000 match grant to qualified nonprofits that raise at least $1,000 on GoFundMe Charity before May 10th.  

Today, we are asking for your support to help us make ends meet during this time of crisis in which we cannot operate as expected. 

For us, as well as our community, to be shut out of a place they love is heartbreaking, but there was no alternative – public places had to be closed for the greater good.    

We anticipate that this closure will last through June, if not longer. With no ticket or concession sales, our organization like many, is facing a large revenue loss during this closure. Looking at the long road ahead, we are in a vulnerable situation. 

On behalf of our board and volunteers, THANK YOU for any help you have previously provided and your continued support during this pandemic. We look forward to a happier time when we can again celebrate safely together.
