<div>In Germany, women and genderqueer people do not have equitable access to sexual healthcare, including preventative care, counseling, STI testing and prophylactic medications. Safer Sex Berlin is a community initiative working to fight this.

<div>Our goal is to empower women and genderqueer people to lead pleasurable, healthy, self-directed sex lives. By changing both the system of resource distribution and the outdated narratives that sustain it, we are working to build a more equitable, affirming, and inclusive sexual healthcare system for all.

<div>Our three-person team is based in Berlin and is currently being funded by the Grace Accelerator so we can work full-time to bring this project to life. <div>We are currently raising 1,500 Euro for legal incorporation as a nonprofit. As a gUG we will be able to apply for funding and accept tax-deductible donations to help support our projects, which include:

<li>P<strong>op-Up STI Testing</strong>: Organizing inclusive and stigma-free STI testing events tailored to women and genderqueer people.
</li>
<li><strong>Visibility:</strong> Participating in conferences and workshops to ensure female and genderqueer voices are heard in healthcare and policy spaces.

<li><strong>Advocacy: </strong>Raising awareness about the barriers women and genderqueer people face in accessing equitable healthcare and changing narratives around female and genderqueer sexualities.

<li><strong>Research &amp; Data:</strong> Collecting community-led insights and surveys to inform advocacy efforts and challenge barriers in sexual healthcare access.
</li>
<li><strong>Debunking the Myths: </strong>Challenging myths that justify unequal healthcare distribution.
</li>
<li><strong>Resource Sharing: </strong>Centralizing information to enable people to find and access the clinics and doctors that are available.
</li>
<li><strong>Provider Education:</strong> Educating healthcare providers to offer more affirming, knowledgeable care to women and genderqueer people.

<li><strong>Lobbying for Policy Change:</strong> Advocating for increased government funding and improved policies for FLINTA* sexual healthcare and access to preventative care.

<div>Aktuell sammeln wir 1.500 Euro, um uns als gemeinnützige Unternehmergesellschaft (gUG) eintragen zu lassen. Damit können wir Fördermittel beantragen und steuerlich absetzbare Spenden annehmen, um unsere Projekte zu unterstützen, darunter:

<li><strong>Forschung &amp; Daten: </strong>Community-geführte Umfragen und Erkenntnisse, um Barrieren in der sexuellen Gesundheitsversorgung aufzudecken und die Advocacy-Arbeit zu stärken.

<li><strong>Mythen entkräften: </strong>Wir stellen falsche Annahmen infrage, die ungleiche Gesundheitsversorgung rechtfertigen, und verändern Narrative rund um weibliche und genderqueere Sexualität.

<li><strong>Ressourcen teilen: </strong>Wir bündeln Informationen, damit Menschen die richtigen Kliniken und Ärzt*innen finden können.

<li><strong>Fortbildungen für Gesundheitsanbieter*innen: </strong>Wir sensibilisieren und schulen Ärzt*innen, um kompetentere und affirmierende Versorgung für Frauen und genderqueere Menschen anzubieten.
