In May of this year Laura was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Unfortunetly it had spread to other areas of her body.
She had surgery and then began radiation and chemotherapy. She has had extended stays in the hospital and has had to be placed on a feeding tube.
During this time Laura is not able to work. She has no income and has to come up with thousands of dollars to pay for her COBRA premiums. She also has other bills and daily needs that she needs assistance with. She has had to use her life savings and 401K to get by up until now.
Laura is the sweetest woman you could ever meet, and it is difficult to watch her go through this trying time. Though Laura remains positive and has faith in God, we would love to help out with her financial needs. With all she has to worry about with her health, paying her bills and COBRA premiums should not have to be one of her additional worries.
