Need help with medical bills

My husband, Ed (Edminister) had a triple bypass in October 2017. The doctors kept saying he was healing well, but regardless of various prescriptions, improved diet and exercise, he just wasn't feeling any better. Then, at his most recent check-up, the cardiologist said that the surgery may not have been effective.
     He has not been able to work since the surgery due to continuing heart problems, neurological issues caused by the surgery, and chronic phatigue. We have huge outstanding hospital bills from a surgery that may have been for nothing, and can not afford to pay for the new round of tests the cardiologist has requested.
