Veteran Needs Help

Robert Fisher was in the military for 10 years. While in service he was deployed to Iraq. He was conducting combat operations when his tank ran over an IED. The force of the explosion caused him to break every bone in his right foot shattering his right knee and his upper right arm.  It also broke three bones in the left foot and left him with a skull fracture.
He was taken to Germany, where they prepped him to be taken to Walter Reed Medical Center where they conducted close to 60 surgeries.  After which he reported back to duty February of 2007. He went back to being a tanker doing what he could even with his disabilities. When the military change the deployment standard, leaving him to undergo the medical board, they decided he was unfit for Duty and medically retired him in June of 2013.  And he moved home to TN.
He has seen multiple podiatrist all saying that there is nothing much they can do to help relieve his foot pain, given that he has a fusion of his ankle bone, 27 pins, four screws all holding his foot together.  He now has no cartilage left and has extreme bone loss resulting in them now wanting to amputate his foot.  He will also have several surgeries on his other foot as well.
The surgeons are urging him to have the surgeries as soon as possible. They will travel to the VA Hospital August 17th to set the dates for the surgeries.
We are trying to get him, his wife, Toni and their family into a home that will be better be suited for his disabilities and the fact that he will be in a wheelchair for a few months before his prosthetic leg can be fitted and he learns to walk again.  Also the surgeries will be at the VA hospital in Murfreesboro Tennessee. Three hours from his home.we know he will be having approximately four different surgeries.  Staying about four or more days in hospital for each one.  We need to raise money to make the transition easier for Robert and Toni.  As Robert can no longer work while going thru this time in his life, it has made it much harder on them.
If you can't help monetarily please remember them in your prayers.  Thank you.
