#Telethon Kairouan Respire (Kairouan is breathing)
The city of Kairouan, the oldest city of Tunisia, is facing a humanitarian disaster amid the dramatic increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and the total collapse of the healthcare system. Infection rate is the highest ever! Dilapidated hospitals with their intensive care units are already operating with overcapacity. No chance for patients to be taken in charge! Most of them are left to their families to take care of them and people are dying at home! No oxygen is available ! IN BRIEF Kairouan is dying !
PLEASE HELP US RESCUE PEOPLE OVER THERE !HOW?
The “Kairouan RESPIRE” (IS BREATHING) telethon is launched! The goal behind this international fundraising campaign is to act urgently, and we rely on the generosity of all Tunisians and Tunisia sympathizers in order to raise as much money as possible to support the victims and help professionals to go through this unprecedented health crisis ! Money raised will be used to speed up the acquisition and delivery of the respirators needed to save lives!
We call all of you to take action to show your sympathy and solidarity with the humanitarian disaster in Kairouan! You will be donating AIR to our children, families, relatives, friends over there !
