Forest Town Fire Appeal

On Saturday 13th august at around 3pm a fire was deliberately started on the fields at the back of Maunleigh.

Damage spread to local houses with one house owned by Kellie her garden burnt to the ground, her car burned beyond repair, her caravan burnt to ashes, doors and windows being blown out with plastic melting and glass shattered , fire damage to buildings, fences and bushes being burnt to the ground. Plus smoke and soot damage to all inside the property including walls and carpets.

Next door is Claire, Adam and their 4 year old sons house which has had their back garden including their sons play equptmnet , toys, shed all burnt to the ground with again considerable smoke and soot damage inside the house.

Both houses had to be evacuated which resulted in emergency accommodation, travel and food purchases plus loss of earning whilst they try to put their lives back together.

Please donate as much as you can even if it's just £1. All money raised through GFM and in person will be donated to the two houses and any other houses in the area that had fire damage as a result of this arson attack. Money will be split as a % based on fire damage
