TJ's Cancer Fund

My name is T.J. Snyder. I was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer for the 3rd time. My cancer is called Ewing Sarcoma and is a very aggresive bone cancer. When I was 19 I was diagnosed for the first time in September of 2009. It was in one of my ribs and the tumor had grown to the size of my fist. After 6 months of chemotherapy and having my rib removed I was considered in remission on Febuary 11, 2010. Then when I was 21, it came back in my left arm. This time I went through 9 months of chemo and 30 treatments of radiation. Luckily, I got to keep my arm, despite having lost some mobility in it, I was cancer free and in remission again in December 26th, 2012. I thought that would be the last time I would have to deal with something like this, at least for a while. Now, in November of 2014, I was diagnosed again. This time the doctors have found tumors in my right arm, left leg, and both hips. It is also in the marrow this time rather than on the outside of the bone meaning it is much more likely to travel through my blood. Aside from learning I had cancer again, I had just found out my fiance and I were expecting a baby, and we were just pre-approved for a mortgage to get our first home. My friends eventually convinced me to start a gofundme page to help with the medical expenses. I currently work full time doing commercial and industrial heating and cooling and due to the extensive chemo regimine, I may need to take time off. So far, just over 2 months into treatment, we have accumulated a little over $2,000 in medical bills. with all of these unexpecteed bills it is making saving money for the baby and setting aside money for a down payment on a house extremely  difficult. Im not used to asking for money for myself, for two years I have rasied money for St. Jude Childrens Hospital by collecting donations and running the warrior dash. Just like when I'm collecting donations for them, I try to make it clear that all donations are appreciated very much and any amount helps tremendously.
