TJ Crushes Leukemia

TJ Reed is an incredible, smart, loving, funny, witty young man who doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He is loved by all who comes across his path and has an incredible future ahead of him. TJ is 6 ft 5 in and is just a tall giant. He bumps into things easily and that was a little more on the common side. Their family just moved and he seemed to be bruising on the easy side. On Thursday August 2, 2018 TJ was taken to the doctor for a "check up" since thats what the insurance covered. Walking on his own had become nearly impossible without almost passing out. Unfortunately the doctor immediately sent them straight up to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City Utah. There they began test after test. They found that his red blood cell count was low and these are the cells that carry the oxygen in your blood. So basically TJ's blood stream was starving for oxygen. Then on Saturday morning, it became official that TJ has "B Cell ALL Leukemia".
TJ is a very strong young man and has a long road ahead of him but we are all confident that he will get through this.
On to the finances... This is a very sore subject and The Reed family needs your help. In June the Reed family found the perfect home to "rent to own" and moved in the end of June. The parents of TJ, Keri and Bob Reed put 6k down on the home and signed a contract that they will buy the home within 12 months. If they do not keep up this contract the landlord keeps all this money and they will be have to move again as the landlord wants the house sold. When they found the home, they knew it was the perfect move as Bob (TJ's dad) just landed the perfect job at Amazon in their new building. So this new home was super close and things were just falling into place.
Fast forward to today... The Reeds have a very high deductible plan and still have to pay 20%. Keri (TJ's mom) has to pause working for right now to be with TJ and that going to take a major hit on their monthly income. Keri and Bob still have 2 younger daughters living at home who also need their parents. The cost of gas almost everyday going up to Primary Children's is going to really make a huge dent in the wallet. They are also in charge of paying for all of TJ's medicine and who knows how expensive those are going to be. TJ is going to be on chemo for the next 3 years and possibly longer. These costs are never going to go away and its going to be a long few years!
