We never have a thought that we will do this thing, and we can only try with no expectation as we believe everyone is experiencing financial impact too this year.
Our beloved dog, Tito, 11.5 yo will be undergoing spinal surgery which estimated around $10K. We just want our happy boy back to himself. He has no other health issue apart the disc issue which caused him pain and his walk wobbly. We really don't want he reaches further stage which can cause paralysis.
We hope we could turn the time. At the beginning of covid lockdown when both Vivi (my wife) and I experienced loss of incomes, we cancelled Tito's pet insurance, never knowing he'll need a surgery as he's such a happy healthy boy. He had a few episodes of sore back which slowing him down, but always bounced back after a few days of anti inflammation medication.
However not this time, his walk slower, his reluctant to move, and worsening into wobbly back legs which can lead to paralysis.
We fought a couple of battles this year which drained our funds unexpectedly from Chancho's ongoing heart, liver and dementia medications plus my wife's disc bulging which caused pinched nerve.
We had spent $4,799 for MRI this week, and we are trying to scrap from whatever we can to pull out to cover the surgery estimation of $10,000.
We hate needing to ask for help as I always like to be the one who offers it, especially my wife if it comes to a dog. Some of you might know that she does dog minding and even in this hard time, she's still worrying of other dogs who are due to be caring by her this month.
Any dollar will be hugely appreciated and you have no idea how eternally grateful we will be. Truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts
