Tisha's Insurance and Hip Surgery

Donation protected
Back in October is when this horrible medical mishap began. After several doctor appointments, shitty treatment at work, and loss of income/paycut, I received the diagnosis that the labrum on my right hip is torn.  Although, worker's comp and the corporation I work(ed) for refuse to acknowledge this, this injury is the result of muscle imbalance, unnatural gait, straining of the hip, and the repetitive motion caused from carrying over-sized trays for many years.

The treatment for my torn hip labrum will consist of the repair of the labrum via hip arthroscopy.

Due to my current living situation(stairs/I'll be on crutches),I cannot have surgery in Nevada. So I've decided to have the surgery in New Mexico to be with my boyfriend and away from stairs. My NM evaluation is scheduled February 13th and then from there I should receive a surgery date. Being that, the pain and discomfort has moved to my left side they will be checking out both hips.

I've yet to discover if my job will transfer(another week), but if it does I'll be on work restrictions and very few hours.(pain and swelling comes with too much activity). With this scheduling, the past few months I've been struggling to pay my bills and know that if I can't afford them here, that I'm definitely unable to afford an upgrade in my insurance premium and the $4,000- $6,000 deductible that comes with that upgrade. I'd rather be an insured patient than uninsured because the cost gap is insanely expensive.

My boyfriend is covering the cost of the move along with vet bills for his aging doggie, so I'd like to avoid adding to his financial expenses and raise money for this surgery in a timely fashion. If I can't raise this money in a timely fashion then I'll possibly lose my insurance and have to postpone surgery. Anybody that has been in pain knows how much it sucks. This has been going on for 4 months already, so please help me get back on my feet and closer to recovery with whatever donation you find possible to spare.

Again, the funds will be going to maintaining my insurance and the quoted deductible from my insurance company. Please help me! Also, thank you to those that have already done so and to those that have emotionally been there for me as well.

P.s.) If you're a server/food industry, take care of yourself or you can end up like me.  27 years old, with a jacked up hip, carpal tunnel, and unexpected medical expenses. Trust me you don't want that. Serve safe y'all!

Caption: It's been 4 months of driving around or laying down with ice and a bag of peas to keep the swelling and pain as minimal as possible. On a good day, the pain is a 5(scale 1-10), but gets as high as an 8 with to much exertion(bending, twisting, sitting, static standing). Love my kitty doctor though!
