Tiny House Advocacy - Victoria

Tiny House Advocates of Vancouver Island is a group of people who are  - or are interested in - living in a tiny house and who want to do that legally. The group was formed in 2017 and has been working on publicity, public awareness events and council presentations about tiny houses. The group also oversees the running of the "Tiny House Advocates of Vancouver Island" Meetup group. The money will go towards Meetup site fees and the costs of both past and coming public awareness events. This year, we are hoping to bring several tiny house builders together for a public showcase as well as continue to work on legalization with local councils, create a website and work with media to share information and stories about tiny houses and the people who choose to live in them.
