Tiny Help For Tiny Tails Home

I am John Mackey from Utah, USA. I am raising this campaign to help my friend ‘Lucy’ from India save her rescued shelter dogs from extinction. I love animals and feel strongly about this cause because every life is precious, and as fellow citizens on this planet, it’s our responsibility to help these voiceless who can’t defend themselves.

Please read below a few words from Lucy regarding her dog rescue shelter and why she is pleading for your support:

Ever increasing cruelty against animals is a plague that seems to be ceaselessly spreading across the globe. Stray and mistreated dogs are a sad reality on the streets of Indian cities and across the globe. These dogs have the desire to live a good life, just like each one of us. They too feel the thirst, hunger and pain as we do but the biggest difference is we are capable to express our needs and can work for it to fulfill it but they neither can express it nor can work for it. Imagine, such a miserable life!

Despite the fact that so many animal rescue organizations are tirelessly engaged in the noble cause of saving these voiceless but precious souls, it seems more are left out than the ones getting rescued and cared for. Nevertheless, we believe that every effort counts because each soul is precious and worth saving. Each day, there are hundreds of cases in a single city where these voiceless get kicked, beaten, starved, and mistreated in all the possible ways one can imagine. Thus, with a desire to give a helping hand like a drop in the vast ocean, Harsha (our founder) came up with the idea of opening a No-kill-dog rescue shelter where we would try to save as many dogs as possible by giving them food, shelter, and needed medical assistance, and then helping them find a forever home. Later, Himanshu, Rima, Sugandha, Ruchi, and Lucy joined her, and Tiny Tails Home was born in April 2018. It’s a female-led registered charity, a no-kill rescue shelter for abused and abandoned dogs in Noida, UP, India. It’s our small initiative to help those babies who are left behind on the roads in devastated conditions have the good life that they deserve. Whatever might be their rescue history, we at TTH strived to do our best to provide them with the needed veterinary assistance and tender loving care from our trained animal care staff and volunteers. TTH was the abode of 25 rescued and abandoned dogs with a difficult rescue history. Despite all the bad experiences and some really tough times with humans, they are still tolerant and loving enough to trust us again so that we can give them a good and peaceful life.

TTH’s Special Kids ❤️

Our Adoption success stories

See what LOVE and CARE can do

Due to unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances, we had to vacate the facility in Noida and had to move our 25 furry kids to a local dog boarding in Dadri, Greater Noida. Out of our 25 kids, we already lost 5 of them and can't afford to lose any more. With the ongoing financial crisis, TTH stands in dire need of funds to pay the monthly boarding charges to let them have a safe roof over their heads and timely meals to sustain their lives till we reestablish the facility.

We still, need to pay the huge pending boarding charges, which we can't do without your help. Please come forward to help our kids. Even the smallest contribution will help us reach our goal of 1 lakh, 34 thousand (14k for December 22, 40k for January 23, 40k for February 23, & 40k for March, which is ongoing) for 20 kids. So we are aiming to raise $3,000 through this campaign to be able to pay off the boarding charges up to May 23. In the meantime, we are trying to figure out how to reestablish TTH all over again so these furry babies can get their home, and their freedom back that they once had at TTH.

Kindness has a ripple effect, and we have faith that kind people like you out there will be able to create that ripple effect, which would save these voiceless from an uncertain and troubled future.

Our Future plans for TTH:-

We want to create a website, which we’re not able to do due to a lack of funds. The website will contain all the details about TTH, its inmates, and its overall operations.

· Open an OPD or medical facility. It’s important to have in house medical team in order to provide the best medical facilities for in-house dogs as well as dogs living in nearby areas

· Two health centers

(i)For all accidental cases

(II) For virus-infected cases, in order to prevent the virus from spreading to other dogs in the medical area.

· Kennels with comfortable beds and food & water facilities 24*7

· Special place for special needs kids. We want to build a place for all our paralyzed, blind, and 3-legged kids with green & comfy grass, and a ramp for easy access.

· Other important areas like Staff resting room, Inventory area to keep storage for a month in advance, and kitchen to cook food for dogs & staff of TTH.

· We get foster cases as well so we want to build separate spaces for them to avoid any mishaps.

· Last but not least huge play area for our all in-mates.

· Apart from infrastructure needs, we need to hire 2-3 24*7 staff, a vet for fixed hours, and a para vet for 24*7.

· Though currently, we have a behavioral trainer and adoption counselor who is also the co-founder of TTH, due to a shortage of space and the high number of cases, she is not able to impart training to anyone, but we definitely see this changing once we have a bigger and more organized space at our shelter.

· We plan to open TTH for unpaid internships so we will be able to help create future resources to help the society at large with their skills related to animal welfare.

· We plan to create a wide range of rewarding volunteer opportunities ranging from hands-on care for the animals to office work to special events to fostering animals in your own home.

Saving our Tiny Tails Home from extinction is a cause very close to our hearts and even more precious for our rescued furry friends. We can’t express how grateful we would be for your support. Donating or sharing the GoFundMe with your social network would mean so much. We appreciate you and your concern for our furry friends here at Tiny Tails Home.

To help get the word out, you can share the campaign link on your Facebook timeline, Messenger, Twitter handle, Instagram, Pinterest, personal email, chatting network, and even on your LinkedIn profile. Your one share will bring us potentially one step closer to reaching our goal of saving our shelter home and the precious lives residing there.

Feel free to reach out to us for any query or curiosity you have about our shelter home. We would be happy to answer.
