Tintin’s Facial Feminisation Surgery Fundraiser ♡

hello, my name is tintin. I am a twenty four year old transgender woman. I am an artist and writer currently living in london.

I am desperately seeking help to finance my transition - specifically facial feminisation surgery (FFS) in order to ease the immense pain of gender dysphoria that I face daily.

I began self medicating over a year ago now. a decision that saved my life. learning to love my trans body has been a long journey of soul searching and healing deep scars. when I believed life was not worth living. when life was hollow and empty I reached inward. cradling the woman crying within me. shimmering rose petals on my skin. a poetic rebirth. I fell in love with living.

I am so proud to have survived the darkest most miserable time of my life and to stand tall on the other side. I still have a long way to go but I remind myself to enjoy every second of my transition no matter how society perceives me or how valid they deem my existence. hrt has shown me how to love myself and flourish in my skin.

yet still my transition is challenging as i still face enormous amounts of gender dysphoria. living everyday in fear regarding my safety, subject to harassment, hate crimes, aggression and violence for just merely existing as a trans woman. the journey to passing would ensure my safety and allow me to live my life in peace.

i am misgendered everyday of my life. when i look at myself in the mirror i still see that hurt little boy that i once was. i never wish to see that person again. i want to be happy.

in order to continue with my transition I am in need of financial help to cover the costs of my facial feminisation surgery (+ gender affirming care) a procedure that will grant me the gender euphoria I crave so deeply. this surgery will give me so much courage, happiness and strength. I do not wish to live in fear anymore. I wish to be free. ♡

I will be forever grateful for any financial support as I will not be able to afford this life changing surgery alone. all funds will directly go towards the gender affirming care that i need as the woman I have always dreamt of being. ♡ “she fell in love with life. pray she never falls out of love ever again” <3

I wish to take a moment to shed light on the sad disparity that my community face everyday. with the rise in anti-trans policies, transphobia, hate murder/crimes and the spreading of transphobic rhetoric. it is paramount that we stand together in solace, harmony and love. trans people exist and we deserve to live in safety, dignity, equality and respect.
