Tink Johnson Family Medical Bills

First, since you are on this page, thank you for your love for Tink Johnson and his family. All of the concern and, most importantly, your prayers are what is pulling them through this tough season. Tink's extended family maintains this page on their behalf.

If you aren't aware of the details, Tink's pneumonia took a rough turn a few weeks ago, and he is currently on a ventilator in a critical but stable state. It has been a day-by-day balancing act of medicines and oxygen with doctors carefully trying to wean him off of both little by little, with quite a few setbacks so far. Unfortunately, Tink is too critical for a lung transplant. The positive news is that his doctors are still hopeful that he can overcome this. We are all fervently praying for that day and know that when it happens, Tink will have an extremely long road ahead of him to "full recovery." His lungs and heart have been under (and are currently still under) quite a bit of strain. All of our family, including Tink, believe in the miracles of God. We know that He is with Tink in this very moment, and though we cannot converse with Tink, we pray he feels the Lord's stable presence. We are incredibly thankful to Tink's doctors and nurses, many of who have expressed their own faith and daily prayers for Tink.

With Tink being self-employed, the family's means of stability is a concern. Crystal and the kids have shown tremendous strength and are doing the best they can in this time. While immediate family is supporting them for the short term, we know the recovery will be long and slow. Our goal is to sustain their needs until they can get back to any sense of normalcy.

Since so many folks have graciously asked how to help or donate, we decided to make this page. Of course we know these are trying times for many wonderful people. The greatest support you can give is through your prayers, not only for Tink and his family but also for the hands caring for him daily. So many of you have already been such a blessing to their family during this time -- thank you.
