Haiti is the poorest country in the world. The Haitians need and count on our help.
I went on a mission trip to Haiti in 2013. It was a blessing to be able to give of my time and help the Haitians in any small way I could. The conditions in which they live is indescribable, yet their smiles, kindness, hope and faith is inspiring and humbling. I have made the commitment to go again in 2014. This year I am bringing my daughter, Gabi. We volunteer at Feed My Starving Children regularly and she is looking forward to going and helping a place we have packed food for so many times. Coming from the richest country in the world and all the we are blessed with she will grow so much from experiencing the reality of how others less fortunate live. It is my hope it will instill a humbleness and desire to help the less fortunate through out her life. We can't change the world for everyone but each of us can change the world for some while we are here.
Our mission trip to Haiti will cost between $3000 and $3500. So I am reaching out to my friends and family. Any support you can lend towards our efforts in Haiti will mean so much. Truly no amount is too big or small. It's our cummlative efforts that will get us there and make a difference.
