This fundraising campaign has been launched to help Tim Zahra and his family with his battle against
cancer.
Tim faced the biggest battle of his life in 2017. At the start of his pain Tim's cancer was being miss diagnosed as back pain for over a year. When doctors discovered the source of his pain was a large mass on his spine they started treatment immediately. Treatment was not working and the only solution left was surgery .On December 1st 2017, Tim underwent a 20 hour surgery at Toronto Western to remove the tumor and reconstruct his back.
All of Tim's family and friends are happy to say the surgery was a great success, but the battle is not over for Tim. The father of three has a long road to recovery ahead of him and with every new advancement in recovery comes new challenges. With Tim being in the hospital for so long and still will be for weeks to come, some costs are rising. Sherrie has been by his side every step of the way. She has been Tim's rock during his recovery. Due to all the time in the hospital current costs and finances are starting to add stress.
