College Tuition Fund - Temple University Japan

The tuition is high, but so is my effort in seeking higher education no matter what personal troubles are faced.  For any scholarships that I manage to be awarded, I will reduce the goal for this GoFundMe. I also aim to set up an Instagram of my studies abroad in Japan at Temple University campus, if I see the desire from those who help me here.

I am lucky to say that I have started with great moral support and even had a positive exert for assisting me with raising money, written by a dear friend. 

"Tim is the most hardworking and diligent person I’ve met. He is passionate about art and really takes the time to understand the history and process of art.

Thus far, he held a full-time job while being a full-time student in college. However, at one point, he had a breakdown. He sought counsel and was diagnosed with “dysthymia” chronic depression. The counselor created him a college plan to only take a couple of courses at a time, which really slowed down his school process. But even despite all of that, he still diligently worked and studied and is a straight-A student. Despite being an A student and still working full time, he is unhappy. He thought that a change of scenery would help with the depression and to speed up his schooling.

He has always dreamed to see what schooling and working are like in Japan, and the last time he was there he forgot all his worries. Since Japan has a deep history of art, he wants to study art more.
Japan would allow him to work on his passions and work on self-care, but also allow him to fully focus on school. So he thought he tries to apply for a school in Japan to continue his studies. And he just got the news he got in!

He initially set to fund this study abroad himself. Since then, he made it a goal to apply to scholarships at least once a day to help fund his way to study in Japan himself.

This GoFundMe will greatly help him have enough funds or extra funds to make his transition to Japan possible. The GoFundMe goal right now is if he does not get any of the scholarships he applied for. However, once any scholarship is granted to him, we will lower the goal set. Ultimately, this is to help him make his dream to go to school in Japan come true. He is already halfway there with his acceptance into the school. Now, it is just to ensure his way to Japan to attend.

His family, friends, and I want to see Tim succeed in his goal to finish school, advance in his career, achieve his dream, pursue his passions, and just be happy. And he’s worked really hard thus far and has everything set. It is just this financial factor that would prevent what he worked hard to happen.
