Leonce Love And Herold Pierre Louis setup Timoun Rezistans Art School live in the alleys and shantytowns of Grand Rue
(Haiti, officially the Boulevard Jean Jaques Dessalines.)
In 2016 the project starting Timoun Rezistans Art School teaches art to Haitian children and women. Students learn how to draw and paint using different techniques. Use materials recycled like trash for example: tires, wood, how to draw acrylics on cardboard, canvas, etc.. I help set up the school because we believe that art can heal, especially those who are vulnerable.
they teaches art to 20 children high school students in Port-au-Prince.
The children are generously fed after each session.
Not only are these young artists helping the children in their community with teaching art, they are also building a computer room to begin teaching IT. They need help to fund this, equipment also to get started.
We raise money for art supplies for these creative kids. Part of the funding is also used to paid computer room materials and food for these students while they are in school.
