Time Waste Management has been in the background for a couple of years now. Helping organize events like the "Is It Over Yet?" zine release parties, Les Poussieres Premier Samedi at Stardust, and the recent Orlando Zine Fest.
We are now taking a step forward to establish a headquarters for more artists to create, explore, and share their ideas to a larger audience of their peers in a safe and constructive environment.
The building formerly known as The Sister Space is currently up for rent, we are looking to sign the lease in the coming weeks. Our goals are to provide an outlet free of commercial advertising for local/non-local artists to subjugate and reform their works of any media to a broad community of their peers while providing workshops, equipment, and materials needed to allow free artistic growth in technique and creative process.
We need your help planning and funding the opening party! The more start-up funding we can obtain the bigger and better the opening will be and events thereafter.
During the month of July we will be cleaning up and getting things ready for the opening in August. We will have a soft opening during this time for artist and contributors to preview the space and allow opportunity for advanced idea storming for the management of wasted time with the Time Waste Management crew.
Starting August 1st we will be holding regular functions including workshops, classes, a permanent zine library, art exhibits, movie nights, studio time, and fun time!
