time to give back to Cheryl

Donation protected
In January 2020, Cheryl suffered an injury which has put her in a wheelchair most days and only able to walk short distances leaving her in unbearable pain, spending most days in bed due to the severity of the pain. In February, after many tests, removal of her stimulator which was her main source of relief, she found out it was a compression fracture. The doctor said would heal on its own in 2-3 months. After 4 months, she was told its “healed” per doctor, yet she still isn’t walking and the pain hasn’t budged. The doctor said there was nothing else he could do for her. Her pain doctor came up with a plan for an SI fusion, insurance denies it because it’s too “experimental” yet her whole back is an experiment. Fast forward eight months later and another doctor, the fractures never fully healed despite the last doctor saying they’re healed and sent her out the door. A kyphoplasty was scheduled and completed, and provided some relief however, the pain continues. Cheryl has been unable to work due to the severity of the pain and often not able to sit for long periods of time which is her job as a van driver. No work means no income. The pain is not only killing her, but so is the fact she is unable to provide for her family both financially and physically/mentally within the house.

If you don’t know Cheryl, you’re missing out in life. She is a mother of two children, a wife, and a friend to MANY people. Since the age of 13, which was her first back surgery, she has been through many surgeries, recoveries, and continued pain throughout her whole life. That never stopped her from being a mother and a friend. She is the most selfless person I know as she has treated me like her own and has been there for me throughout a majority of my life. She would do anything for me and others and I mean ANYTHING. She would put anyone before herself even if that meant pushing herself to her limits physically, mentally, and emotionally. For the woman who would give everything she had to the person next to her, I want to give back to her for how much she has done for me and so many others. Any donations are appreciated to help during this financial hardship.
