TIME IT IS: TO MUSIC is a new musical adaptation of the 1999 award-winning off-off-Broadway play TIME IT IS by Lissa Moira.

Alizia, a talented but struggling underground artist living in New York's East Village in 1982, is shocked to sell one of her art works to Robert Redford at a gallery opening. With the national success of her work, Alizia is thrust into the spotlight where she must reckon with the consequences of fame, the men in her life, and her deepest secrets.

After a successful workshop production in December 2018, TIME IT IS: TO MUSIC, LLC is seeking to raise $25,000 in funds for our upcoming April 2019 Showcase run.
The money raised will go towards paying all artists involved in our production including: Actors, Dancers, Creative Team, Production Stage Manager, Set and Costume Design, Musicians, Lighting Operator, etc.
Funding will also go towards creative and marketing materials including: Set and prop elements, marketing materials, photographer/videographer, publicist, etc.
This piece of musical theater is personal to all who encounter it, with a female-centric story that everyone can relate to. Its inventive and intricately woven score, deeply poetic book, and multivariate, dimension-melding forms of choreography combine to make TIME IT IS: TO MUSIC as experimental as it is mainstream.
Having support on this project would mean the world to our creative team and performers who are working so hard to share this story and have our voices heard. With an almost completely female creative team, a strong female lead, and a story about the art in all of us, this piece would equally empower the women, the artists, and lovers of the arts of all generations.
