Hello my name is Tim O'Shea, three years ago I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer. I underwent treatment and got the all clear, on July the 27th last I attended a routine follow up examination at which I received the devastating news that the cancer had now metastasised to my L.2 spine and pubic bone. Conventional medicine does not offer me a cure and the best prognosis is treatment with severely debilitating life changing side effects.
I have researched extensively a number of alternative protocols, and have now made the decision that subject to having the financial resources I intend to take up the treatment offered by the Budwig clinic in Spain. Budwig Centre
This is a residential based treatment and its success outcomes are very positive The treatment programme is based on Dr Johanna Budwig’s protocol which provides steps that help you to recover your health by implementing the multi-faceted and totally natural program. These programs focus on detoxing the body, boosting the immune system, treating micro organisms affecting your health and promoting a general state of well-being in the patient. The protocol that has been recommended for me includes attending the clinic for a minimum of three weeks.

My options are as follows, accept the conventional treatment and the massive debilitating array of side effects that will happen with no cure at the end or through your support giving myself the opportunity to undergo the treatment at the Budwig clinic in Spain and have the opportunity of living out the rest of my days with the strong possibilities of a quality of health. For me it is like either accepting a slow death sentence or embracing the possibility of a real cure and a decent quality of health.
I have never, to date, in my life reached out for help in this manner before. I have always lived an independent life. However I now find myself with limited resources and not enough to finance this project. I have no assets to sell and my sole income is a pension. I suffer from severe Osteoarthritis, in my hips, knees, ankles, hands, back,neck and shoulders, I have had both my hips replaced and also my left knee.
In 2007 I remortgaged my home in Co. Clare to fund my new business in the health and fitness industry (Woman’s Gym Franchise) in Limerick. In 2010, as a consequence of the Financial crash in 2008, I was forced to close the business. I, like many others, have struggled over the intervening years to make my mortgage repayments. This constant stress has taken its toll on me.
Asking for help has been one of the hardest things I have had to do in this whole process, as difficult even as coming to terms with the negative prognosis that I received. Now, I am finally succumbing to the persuasions of a few close friends to take this fund raising step. As a generally positive person I know this is the only course of action open to me so here I am reaching out to you for help.
I would deeply appreciate any contribution you can afford, no matter how small.
I will let everyone know through this page how my treatment progressed and I will be happy to share my experiences with anybody who may find themselves in a similar situation.
