Tim's Fight Against Leukemia

On Friday, February, 2nd, Tim made an appointment with his physician because his legs were swelling. Upon arriving at his doctor’s office, they sent him to the hospital where he received the first of several blood transfusions. After running several test, doctors informed Tim he has AML Leukemia.
Tim since has been transferred to a hospital in St Louis where he will undergo chemo therapy for a minimum of five weeks.
Tim is your average guy who works each day to take care of his wife and family. He has worked for Advanced Concrete Technology, Inc. in Springfield, MO since 1991. Tim is the sole breadwinner for his family. As you can imagine, missing one week of work would be hard enough. Just trying to maintain regular bills and expenses, but add medical expenses, fuel, travel, etc. to the list, it adds up. Just the drive alone from Springfield to St Louis is three hours and 20 minutes. Tim will remain in the hospital, but his wife will have to make that trip several times. Not to mention hotel expenses.
