Tim Voelker BSA Eagle Scout Service Project

Due to this year's pandemic, more and more people are out and about in my community in trying to leave the house and still maintain their social distance from others.  I found that the green space within our neighborhood became a focal point to visit with one another.  Due to a lack of seating, many people were witnessed to bring their own chairs or blankets.  This is a very relaxing space and I found that adding a sitting bench here would have the most impact for the most people at this park.  

For my community service project, required for the rank of Eagle Scout, I am raising funds to procure the necessary materials and equipment for me and my fellow scouts to proceed with the installation of a new high-quality bench.
