Tim Pridgen, aka PawPaw, was one of the most loving and devoted men I have ever known. He came into my life 17 years ago when he met and married my mom. He didn't just become my "step-dad" rather my mentor and friend who showed more love than one could imagine.
On December 30, 2017, Tim passed away after being in the hospital for just over 2 weeks. He was the glue that held our combined family together. He was the head of household, role model and handyman. Tim was so many great things to so many people. Not only was he those great things, he was the most amazing grandfather! He would have glistening eyes and the worlds biggest smile when he got to see and play with his grandchildren. Tim was the kind of person that stayed focused and grounded. That man had connections everywhere and could be referred to as a "good ole boy"! He loved my mother more than anything. Seeing them together proved that they were best friends and despite the expected marital spats, their love was top priority. My mom has now been left to come home to an empty house and many tasks left unfinished. Despite the missing and most important piece, Tim, we have many memories.
I have set up this account in hopes to ease the burden and stress on my mom's behalf. They have some financial burden and his death has only added to the issue. I want my mom to be able to focus on his memory and funeral arrangements without worrying financially. If you know Tim or my Mom you know how much they did for everyone else ahead of themselves. If you could help our family during this difficult time it would be received with praise and not greed.
