Tim Marshall's Cancer Fight

Donation protected
Tim Marshal, true cowboy, avid brewer, rabid soccer fan, and dedicated husband of 19 years and father to two very active teenagers has been diagnosed with stage 4 melenoma cancer.  Tim is fighting the good fight but needs our help!  Recently Tim discovered that the immune therapy and radiology treatment initially prescribed is not having the positive therapeutic effect he and his doctors had hoped for.  Currently he is taking the arduous journey down the chemotherapy path to beat this cancer NOW!

Unfortunately, as if cancer doesn’t suck enough, treatment also comes with a hefty price tag.  Tim has dedicated his career to the steel industry, but the medical bills for the expensive treatments are beginning to pile up and are much more than he and his family can handle alone.  Having helped everyone else through volunteer work, involvement in his children’s extra-curricular activities/sports and being the reliable helping hand his friends and family have grown to know, Tim fails in asking for help for himself—he’s a man of staunch integrity.  He has touched and inspired so many, it is now time for us to contribute to him.

THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION!

Some of Tim’s friends have set up this GoFundMe account with a target of raising $20,000 to help with medical costs so that he and his family can focus on fighting cancer and navigating this difficult time.

It is easy to give a few bucks (and every dollar counts here), but if you would like to do more, in addition to this GoFundMe account the brewing community is organizing a fundraising event at The Beer Den in Sandy, Oregon on October 21, 2017 to rally support for Tim in person.  More details to come, but please visit The Beer Den’s facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/thebeerdensandy/) regularly for more information as the time draws nearer and to learn of how you can further contribute.

Thank you, in advance, for the contribution you can make and all the positive energy you can send to speed Tim through to his recovery!

God Bless
