Tim Laskowski Medical Expenses

As some of you may or may not know, our beloved brother, and friend Tim Laskowski suffered a seizure in his home Tuesday evening (2/13) causing a brain bleed. He was taken by ambulance to a local hosptial near their home and then transported to another hospital that specializes more with the neurological issues he was experiencing.
Tim was admitted to the ICU and underwent numerous test throughout the evening and following day. It was determined that his seizure was caused by a high blood pressure, and that too caused the blood vessel to bleed into the brain. The neurologist informed Michelle and Tim, that in previous experiences with a seizure that severe, most do not survive, and that he was very lucky to be alive.
Tim's neurosurgeon decided to hold off on surgery since repeated tests showed he had no continued bleeding, however they needed to stable his blood pressure, which seems to be a continuous issue for the doctors. Tim is currently still in the ICU and will remain until the doctors can in fact get him stabled.
Mike and I have decided to set up this page, because we are all to familiar with the hardship that come with extensive medical bills. While great doctors care is without a doubt what we are all so very appreciative of, it does come at great costs, which in turn causes great hardships on a family....just ask us, we can tell you.
You may or may not know this as well, Tim is self employeed, owning his own small construction business, and as you can imagine creates it's own challenges, however with the amount of time he will lose from being in the hospital as well as recovering at home (when he finally gets there), this will make it even that much more difficult to make ends meet on their everyday living expenses, let alone the enormous amount of medical bills that will be coming their way. You can't believe how much 3 days in the ICU will cost, and he is still there.
We wanted to do something to help ease the burden for Tim and Michelle and decided to set up this Go Fund Me page to raise money to offset the cost of their medical bills as well as help with living expenses. If you would like to help and feel compelled, please donate to support them. No amount is too small.
