Tim gone too soon
On July 29th, 2021, my father, Timothy S. Strawn, met up with a man. The result was him being run over by this man's car. My dad died at the scene. Somehow, even with video evidence, the suspect was sent home and is still roaming the streets of Southern California today. Public records show this man has a fairly extensive criminal history but because of his fear tactics, intimidation, and connections to law enforcement, he has been repeatedly allowed to pay a far lesser price than he should. I refuse to believe that my father's murder was an accident. I pledge to do everything in my power to ensure justice is found for my father.
Being next of kin, a ton of responsibility has been placed on my shoulders. I not only have to deal with medical examiners and detectives but also litigation, memorial services, crematory services, Los Angeles county courts, banks, assets, flights, legal fees, etc. It should go without saying that this will be a lengthy process and financial burden but it's something I feel obligated to do.
About Tim: My father lived a very difficult life but despite that he had such a great heart. No one has anything bad to say about the guy. He was also a loved brother and son and friend of many. He regularly helped strangers even though he sometimes had nothing to offer but himself. I'm so thankful that I literally only have great memories about him. Not a single bad one. I loved my dad and I know he loved me and that's all that matters to me. His life was taken from him far too early. He was 51 years old. He should have seen me get married in two months. He should have been able to see his grandkids... Unfortunately that was taken away from him and me.
If you've made it this far, thank you so much for listening. I honestly could go on and on but I don't want to lose sight of what I can focus on right now and that's making sure justice is served. Please, any contribution no matter how small, will help me on this extensive journey. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all. Thank you so very much, family and friends.
