Tim Getzloff Memorial

Hello everyone, my name is Brianna Getzloff and I am so sorry to announce that my father and best friend, Tim Getzloff, suddenly passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 from heart complications. My dad was a strong, loving, and giving man who would do anything for his family and friends. He had a way of making everyone he met smile. He was the biggest cheerleader for my brother, Austin and I. He made a point to be there for every event in our lives, big or small. He picked us up when we were down, and celebrated each of our successes. He did all this despite his struggle with health problems.
After a heart attack that nearly killed him in 2008, he continued to battle chronic heart failure. He was in and out of the hospital over the years. This past winter was particularly brutal for him. In addition to spending time in the hospital after his defibrillator/pace-maker shocked him 37 times in a row, he received a diagnosis for an aggressive form of skin cancer. He was set to start treatments on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, but he died unexpectedly on Monday.
He was my rock, and I already miss him so much, and I do not know what I am going to do without him in my life! I love my dad so much, and I want him to be remembered to all the people's lives he touched. This is why I am asking for any and all donations to help our family with raising money to give him the memorial and services he deserves. Anything donated will be to help us with memorial services and funeral costs in our time of need.
As I mentioned, he had ongoing health issues, and his savings went to covering medical expenses. This was so unexpected and sudden, we can really use all the help and support we can get to make it through this tough time. We are so very grateful for any and all help. We would like to get this under way as soon as possible and are trying to collect any donations within the next couple of days so he can be peacefully put to rest as this is hard and painful enough for us to bare. This means so much to our family and we greatly appreciate all the help everyone could give. Thank you all very much, and I will be posting information on services in the next couple of days as we make arrangements for him. Again, we can't thank you enough!
