Tim Collins, G4S shift supervisor

This campaign is to raise money for Tim’s immediate family; his wife Holly (33), his son Ty (11) and newborn baby Jude (1 month). With Tim being unable to support his family, there is added fear and stress of where they will get the resources from to pay their bills, their rent and obtain food and needed supplies. Tim does not have any disability or other benefits that would help see his family through this difficult time, so they are asking for your help.
One of our own has taken ill and is in critical condition in the ICU at Sutter Tracy. Timothy “Tim” Collins went to the hospital on October 4th 2018 for suspected pneumonia and was immediately admitted to the ICU due to what was referred to as a “thyroid storm”. All of Friday he sounded like himself and most of Saturday too until 6:37 pm when he went into cardiac arrest.
Tim was worked up by the code blue team for 10 minutes before he was eventually revived and is currently unconscious in medically induced coma. He is on a ventilator and his heart rate is high and the rithem is erratic. The cardiologist has indicated that Tim likely has congestive heart failure as a result of an enlarged heart caused by his hyperthyroidism. We have no idea how long Tim will be in this state or how long it will take him to recover when he comes out of it. But we do know Tim is fighting and we are fighting right along side of him.
Tim has been working his way up through the ranks in the security field since 2014 when he started as a patrol supervisor at a small company in Fremont. He then moved on to AUS where he managed an entire site for Google in Alameda and recently joined G4S in January of this year as an area supervisor. In July Tim joined the Cisco account as a shift supervisor and was training to be the site supervisor when he took ill last week.
Any amount, no mater what size of a donation will be greatly appreciated. All funds received through this campaign will go directly to his wife, son and newborn baby’s relief.
