<div><strong>Here is a beautiful tribute of Tim's life:</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Timothy Michael Carey, Jr. of Fairfield left this worldly plane and us, Thursday, August 3, 2023 at his home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The sky was blooming with a triple rainbow outside his window when Tim was born July 16, 1983 in Chicago, Illinois to Rebecca Bachar Carey and Timothy Paul Carey, Sr.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Moving with his mother Rebecca to Fairfield at the age of 3, Tim began his Iowa journey in Utopia Park — where year-round play, from snowmen to go-carts to gardens to Legos—brought mischief and delight in abundance. He enjoyed the fullness of Fairfield life both at Maharishi School and in the Fairfield School system. After high school, Tim joined his father at Tim’s Heating and Air Conditioning where he worked for many years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Like his parents, Rebecca, a dance teacher, and Tim, Sr. a musician, Tim loved music and especially enjoyed Enya (yes, Enya), Fleetwood Mac, and Jelly Roll. It was cheesecake, not a cake, that he wanted every year for his birthday.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tim’s joy came from his deep love of his family, friends and nature. Favorite pastimes were camping, creating off-the-grid water systems, cabin and ATV renovations, photography, making 4-wheeler trails, tending his organic salsa garden plus cucumbers for juicing, cutting wood, filmmaking that included videotaping several of his mother’s performances, caring for his animals, and of course playing with his two beautiful boys.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Tim was a true artist and had focused more and more on woodworking over the last few years, creating many beautiful pieces. Lifelong friends filled his life with deep connection and meaning, as he filled theirs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Generous, kind, and always willing to help anyone in need, Tim’s tender heart will be remembered by all who knew him.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The love of Tim’s life, Danielle Briggs, and their two sons Timmy and Michael Carey completed his heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>His beloved parents Rebecca and Tim, sister Briani, and brother Yogastah, along with all of his uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear grandmother, Joann Bachar, will cherish him always.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A memorial gathering to celebrate his life and loves will be held August 22, 4 pm at Behner Funeral Home, 203 South Main, Fairfield, IA.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Condolences may be sent to the family at Behner Funeral Home at <a href="https://www.behnerfh.com/obituaries/timothy-careyjr" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.behnerfh.com/obituaries/timothy-careyjr" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.behnerfh.com/obituaries/timothy-careyjr</a></a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So many want to honor his memory. If you would like to give a gift in Tim’s honor, donations can be made to help meet final expenses and to go towards a college fund for his sons.
