We rescued our sweet Tilly from a puppy mill operation 8 years ago. When we got her she did not know about treats, toys or how to jump up like a normal Jack Russell. Tilly has always been a healthy happy girl loving her older Jack Brother and chasing squirrels. She has been a very loving and special girl. About a week ago she developed a cough and the vet told us she had a growth on her thyroid and a suspecious lump in her lung.
We took her to US Davis Vet Medical school for a second opinion and they found cancer on her thyroid and just starting tumor in her lung.
Because of the urgency she is scheduled for surgery to remove both of these next tuesday 10/10/17.
My husband and I are retired and the cost will be $7500-$10700. The insurance we have on her only covers $2500.
She is still a young dog and the vets tell us she should be fine and cured after the surgery. Please, any amount will help as we are on a fixed income and Thank You in Advance for your generosity.
