Tilly's Global Health Internship

In May 2020 I will be heading off to Thailand to spend 2 months supporting a global health initiative with the organisation GVI. The focus of this program is preventative healthcare, specifically hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, and exercise education, all of these areas I will be volunteering in. I will also be part of a research team and will receive guidance on how to implement these skills into a future career while gaining emergency response training. I am hopeful this programme will be of great help to those it the community of the Phang Nga province I will be working in to reduce transferrable disease as well as encouraging my own personal growth and development. I will be in complete cultural immersion and am greatly excited to have the chance to better myself, widen my horizons and make a clear difference.
