'Til Death Do Us Part: Student Short Film
Donation protected
"The key to being a happy wife is inside the pit of her husband's stomach. It won't leave him full, but surely six feet under."
My name is Cee Pham, and I am a senior DePaul student co-directing a short subversive film with my dear friend Dayana Enkhbaatar called 'Til Death Do Us Part (original title: How to be a Good Housewife). Because we are broke college students, we seek donations to fund our biggest film yet.
Featuring Shi la Rosa's song "Drip," this hyper-feminism experimental film is a take on the patriarchy and traditional marriage norms. It starts as a satirical parody of those 50's "How to be a Good Housewife" videos, and then brings the audience to the modern world of hyper-feminism, where women, portrayed as drag performers, kill men.
This money will feed our crew, and will be used for the production design and location.
