Tijenene Gaffney's Cancer Fight
On Friday September 13th 2013 Tijenene received news that would forever change her life….She was diagnosed with Stage 3C breast cancer. In November she had a full mastectomy. In early January 2014 she began chemotherapy. During this time, through extensive research and soul searching, Tijenene switched to a holistic therapy. This therapy uses nutrition, detoxification and lots of rest to heal the body. Not only does it heal cancer, but other degenerative illnesses as well.
The holistic approach was working wonderfully! She was feeling a lot better, she lost almost 40 pounds and tests indicated the remaining cancer cells were decreasing.
However, the therapy was becoming extremely taxing on Tijenene and her family because of its cost and labor. Their savings were depleted as it costs them about $1,500 monthly for the required: organic produce, filtered water, and supplements. In addition to the expense, it’s just like a full time job as almost every waking hour of the day is dedicated to: juicing, detoxing, and meal preparation. Tijenene was doing all this while still trying to provide an environment filled with love, learning and socialization for her two year old twins. Her husband was also
exhausted from helping her in addition to his full time job.
It was a very difficult balancing act so she cut back. And almost instantly she felt the results. She could feel her body’s health beginning to decline. She began to feel aches and pains. She began worrying that the cancer was returning. At that point she
started to feel very depressed because she was worried that her children would be without a mother!
I’m here today to ask for your help in saving my friend and her family! Please help her with a donation so that she can continue her therapy. The goal of $20,000 will be put toward the monthly cost of therapy ($1,500) for the next year and help with the kids.
