<div>On the 6th April, I'll be running this intimidatingly long race on behalf of an intimidatingly important charity, Secrets Worth Sharing, in the city of Brighton and (indeed) Hove, where Secrets Worth Sharing is run and where I happen to live, with my fiancee Sophia, who happens to run Secrets Worth Sharing. All coming together eh? There is a pleasing circularity to all this which I have no doubt will encourage many of you to at least triple that putative figure in your head.

<div>So what's Secrets Worth Sharing, you ask? Well, I hope you didn't scrape your back too hard when you crawled out from underneath that rock.

<div>Secrets Worth Sharing is a non-profit offering practical, approachable and intersectional advice on how to talk about childhood sexual abuse, so that survivors get better support from friends, family and support services. They provide digital resources, film clubs, workshops and podcasts for the public as well as consultancy and training for organisations. Central to their ethos is ‘Serious Joy’, believing that it is possible to have these conversations in a light touch way, so that they are more accessible for all.

<div>The money I will raise from this run - with your support - will go towards local workshops for the public and for the hiring of a camera crew and editor so that the workshops can be available online to those who are unable to make it in person.

<div>Okay, so let's get down to business. Let's negotiate. If you are kind enough to sponsor me, then there are various perks you could earn for doing so:

<li><strong>£15</strong> and you can provide me with a song of your choice to listen to as I run. You can be absolutely nice or absolutely horrid, or you can force me to listen to a demo of your own homemade drill music - I'm not a music producer but I can be very supportive if that's what you need right now. If we get loads of these I will just have to run slower to fit them all in... quelle shame.

<li><strong>£30</strong> and I will give you personalised tasting notes for your song of choice <em>and</em> I will do it <em>mid-run</em>, that is, provide you with immediate feedback on just how much I enjoyed your song and what kind of ambience, encouragement or despair it provided me with.

<li><strong>£60</strong> and I will video call you mid-run to update you on how the race is going. Good option for those wishing to see me sweaty. Earlier slots will find me philosophical, later slots confrontational.

<li>I also take requests! If you have a fun idea for something I could do for you during this run, or in the immediate pre- or post-run phase, then donate me the amount you think that's worth and get in touch!
