Help me get custody of my boys

This is incredibly difficult for me, but at this point, I don't know what else to do.  As many of you know, over 10 years ago, I made one of the toughest decisions of my life. I decided to file for divorce.  The decision sank me into a deep depression, but I thought it was the best decision for everyone involved.  I thought the constant fighting would cease and give the boys a chance of having a normal life with 2 parents co-parenting.    I was sorely mistaken, but I will spare you the many stories.

Eleven years have passed and during that time, sadly, the tensions have only worsened.  Without going into gross detail,  I'll tell you both of my boys have begged to live with me and it is in their best interest to do so. The boys allege abuse and DCS, as well as the school counsellor, have been involved 10 times over the past year and a half.   They have advised me to notify the court of my intent to modify the custody order, which I have done.  My heart aches for my boys and I want them to be able to come live with me.

I have an attorney in Bloomington, IN and they are confident we can win, and I have paid the retainer fee of $2000, but there is also a fee of $1500 for the Guardian ad Litem that has been reccommended and allowed by the court.   I have already burned through the retainer fee and my attorney has said there will be more fees throughout the process. Although this is humiliating and not what I want to do, I am asking my friends and family to please help me raise the funds to continue the legal process which will hopefully allow the boys to live with me and obtain primary phyical custody.  Any help, even $.01, is appreciated.
