thank you to every single person who donated and shared my campaign, it's seriously mindblowing and i am so thankful!! i will be sending out a general update to donors as well as personally thanking all of you through the gfm portal. this will take me some time since there are so many of you but i'm slowing working on it!
so far i've been able to pay for my ffs deposit and i officially have a date locked down (september 2021), as well as put down the deposit and schedule a consultation with my top surgeon (this upcoming september). next we will be contacting the bottom surgeon to try to do the same thing.
please continue to donate and share this campaign as it is very likely that when i am post-op in recovery, i will need things such as hotels close to my doctor's office, food, travel expenses, etc.

hi, my name is tiffany salem. i'm a black trans woman from detroit, mi, currently living in sacramento, ca with my wife ryla.
i have been transitioning since 2016, and i'm currently in need of funds to further my transition.
i have been approved for facial feminization surgery, and am in need of money for a deposit of $5000 that i must place in order to secure my surgery date. obviously the sooner, the better, because the longer i wait the further out my date will be. currently it's looking like if i were able to pay this entire deposit right now the soonest date would be september of 2021, so you can see why time is of the essence.
i have set this donation goal with future surgeries in mind, being breast augmentation and bottom surgery. i'm expecting the bottom surgery deposit to be around the same as ffs, roughly $5000, but the deposit for breast augmentation shouldn't be as expensive.
any extra funds will go toward traveling and lodging expenses as i'll likely be going to southern california for most, if not all, of the surgeries. if by some incredible miracle more money is raised than the amount of $15,000 that i've asked for that money will just go towards my daily survival expenditures/cost of living.
access to these surgeries would be life saving in that it would make a huge help in relieving my dysphoria and help immensely with my employability, as i've been struggling to find work for quite a while now.
