Hello my name is Tiffany, and I am a proud mother working tirelessly to achieve a dream I’ve held onto for years—earning my bachelor’s degree. I’m in the final stretch, with just 11 months to go, and this journey has been nothing short of life-changing. However my financial aid is about to run out and I do not have enough to cover me until I graduate.
In 2020, I faced one of the darkest moments of my life when I became gravely ill with COVID-19. My heart rate dropped to a terrifying 18 beats per minute. In those moments, as I wrestled with the thought of death, I made a promise to myself: if I survived, I would finish what I started and create a future I could be proud of.
This journey has been deeply personal—not just for me, but for my family as well. No one in my immediate family has ever graduated college, and only two in my extended family have achieved this milestone. I’m determined to change that narrative. Im not the only one making sacrifices, my family has had to make so many changes and sacrifices to ensure my education as well.
There have been moments when I’ve felt like giving up. I have severe ADHD, and there are days when the struggle to focus leaves me in tears. But with every setback, I’ve found the strength to push forward. I’ve made the Honor Roll and recently earned a spot on the Dean’s List—achievements I never imagined possible.
Now, I’m reaching out with humility and hope. If you feel it in your heart to support me on this journey, please know that I don’t take your kindness lightly. In return for your generosity, I’d love to send you something special. I make custom press-on nails, toenails, trays, coasters, pencil holders, and more. If you choose to donate towards my tuition then please email me your address, and I will create something just for you as a token of my gratitude.
This degree is more than just a piece of paper—it’s proof that perseverance, faith, and dedication work. My dream is to graduate with my Bachelors in Social work so that I can help young adults and teens struggling with mental health disorders and addiction. Thank You all have a blessed day.
