Tiffany’s 3rd Trip to South Africa

East London, South Africa... Hope Schools... I never thought after I made my way on my first overseas mission trip to this place just over a year ago, that my heart would be changed forever.
I have gone on two mission trips to East London, South Africa to help with a school called Hope Schools that gives children who have been infected / affected / orphaned by HIV/AIDS & poverty a good, Christian education.
These children live in incredibly poor, unsafe neighborhoods. Most children have terrible home lives. The responsibility these kids are forced to have make my day to day adult life look like a walk in the park.
A lot of these kids deal with abandonment and it means so much to them to have a consistent team from The Journey Church come visit them twice a year to love on them and show them more of Jesus’ love.
After my second trip this past summer, I came back with a VERY heavy heart for the kids and the people on the ground in East London. That heaviness weighed so much on me that I decided I couldn’t wait until next Summer to see them again.
So I made the decision to go back with my team from The Journey again THIS November.
If you don’t know what we do in East London, simply we show God’s love to these children in any way possible. In the Summer we run a Holiday Club (VBS) and November we go and help while they’re in school and help with grounds work, wherever we’re needed, we help.
It would mean THE WORLD to me and to these kids if you could partner with me on this trip. Whether you can be praying for me and the team and the kiddos, or if you can give finaicially. It would mean so much.
