A person's story does not always reflect the person they truly are. Tiffany is a genuinely selfless person who cares for and shows her love to others freely, but prefers to keep herself in the shadows. Those of us close to her see her incredibly giving heart and want to show her some of the kindness and love that she has given to the rest of us. This very hardworking, dog-whisperering, intelligent, and generous soul needs our support.
Tiffany had a surgical procedure, in May, that was necessary to maintain her basic quality of life. Quickly following that procedure she began experiencing complications that severely affected her chance for survival. She has not been able to eat for 4 solid months- imagine that. Despite a medical system that has continually fought against her to get the care she needs she has found a specialist willing to perform another surgery to correct the previous complications. Even though she has medical insurance they are refusing coverage and demanding payment upfront of over $20,000. This comes after the mounting medical costs from the last 4 months with multiple specialist visits, procedures, and hospital stays.
This is a critical time as Tiffany's health continues to deteriorate. Without this surgery or with a continued delay, the potential for dire results or, at best, a life of incredibly decreased quality is imminent. This isn't even about maintaining financial stability as the money is required prior to the surgery. Tiffany has been pursuing all financial options available to her with no success and fighting daily with her insurance company and the medical system.
Tiffany has continued to work as much as possible to maintain her income while battling these horrible complications. She is not one to sit idle and wait for other's care- she is fighting to get back to health. In a year that has rocked us each to our core, this is a chance for us to help the kindest soul get her life back.
