Hi! My name is Katie Pruitt and I live in Allen, Texas! I started this fund for a friend and fellow colleague of mine Tiffany Flowers and her wife Amber. I know Tiffany from vet school, as she was in the graduating class below me.
This fund is to raise money for Tiffany and Amber Flowers who were severely affected by Hurricane Harvey. All the money from this fund raiser will go directly to them to help rebuild everything they've lost from Hurricane Harvey.
The storm brought the most devastating flooding Texas has ever seen. Thankfully Tiffany and Amber were able to evacuate their home with their dogs and inside cats when the flooding started, but had to return the next day to rescue their 4 horses and outside kitties. They literally had to swim out to get them. Evacuating with just their clothes on their backs they have lost just about everything in their home, not to mention all the damage to the home itself.
Tiffany is a veterinarian that graduated from Mississippi State in 2010. She served in the United States Army where she took care of and treated our amazing canine soildiers. She retired from the Army in 2013 and moved to Texas. Currently she works for Animal Alliance of Galveston County, a non-profit offering low cost spays and neuters, as well as wellness for the surrounding areas. She has deadicated her life to serving others and now She and her wife need some help!
