<div>On April 5th, I was diagnosed with ALS, a moment that changed my life forever. As we enter ALS Awareness Month and I celebrate another birthday this May, I’m faced with the reality of this tough journey ahead.

<div>ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, is unrelenting and, as of now, incurable. Many people given this diagnosis only live 2-4 years. Every day is tough, but I’m determined to keep going and beat the odds- not just for me, but for my four amazing kids who need their mom.

<div>I’m starting this GoFundMe with the hopes of raising enough money to undergo stem cell treatment, a promising option that’s not covered by insurance.
