After being on the streets 8 years . I came to hawaii and started making my tiedyes. Then I got a shop going for 7 years now. Tiedyehobo is 7 years old aug 20th. When the pandemic started in March and they shut everything down. They made me close in April. I had never closed for the 6 1/2 years before that.
I became rad ically depressed and realized in a few months I was gonna be homeless again.
I prayed God, please give me wisdom to handle this situation. I learned how to sew real quick and started making mask. I made so many the first few weeks. I made enough to put a good down payment for some land I could legally lay my head on . I made mask and saved that to get the grading done and clear the land for the shop and my home and extra living for help or guest. Now the next was to get a shipping container for storage and temporary living. I've exhausted my resources . I dont really have any family, so I cant ask them. But I need to get construction material to build and a water container, bathroom (porta potty), and solar panels, etc.
I'm not expecting any help, but I'm asking for any contribution you can do. You will part of the ground floor of the construction of tiedyehobo land. Its gonna be so cool. I'm gonna have vegetables and fruit planted and growing. And have the coolest place to visit for everyone that comes to the big island of hawaii. 7 years people have supported tiedyehobo and has watched the tree grow. Each year returning customers come back and see how the progress is growing. And they're very happy and plus the beautiful tiedye I make keeps them happy. So please donate whatever you can.
