Friends and family... Thank you for all of the prayers and positive thoughts that I have received during this fight I am currently doing pretty good. I am constantly working hard to keep the cancer at bay.  I am coming to ask for urgent assistance so that I can get back to work and get my life back to normal. I am supposed to return to work on 8-9-17. The problem is I recently had surgery to remove my jaw joint because it had stopped working. Because of how recently I had radiation I am not able to have the joint repaired surgically because radiated muscles and bones do not heal properly. Without the joint I have a large hole in my palette (upper gum). The hole steals my air and makes talking very hard. I have to "throw" my words past the hole causing some words to sound funny It also makes me feel winded to talk for extended periods of time. This makes my career difficult as it requires talking 90% of the time. I have found a solution to this problem with a dental surgeon who is willing to make a retainer with a piece that will "plug" the hole. The doctor is confident that plugging the hole will give me back my speech and will alleviate the possibility of recurrent infection that can of course turn into cancer. This piece is going to cost $7,000 and is not covered by insurance at all. I am soooo ready to get this piece of my confidence back and I must return to work because I must keep my health insurance in place. Please please give anything that you can. I really need your help.
