Tianna's Back Surgery Fund

Hi, my name is BreAnna. I’m trying to raise money for a very close friend of mine Tianna Bornholdt. Tianna has been struggling almost her whole life trying to enjoy her life. When Tianna was 14 (is now 26) there was an accident where she was pushed against bleachers. At that split second her whole life changed. After being told by many doctor that everything was fine, she finally was told that she had a herniated disk an her vertebrae was bone on bone. So in January of 2008 she had her first back surgery. When she woke up things didn’t look good. She couldn’t move her legs. The Doctor proceeded to tell her that her back was worse than inspected, but then she should go back too normal. After months of physical therapy, things started looking up. She was able to start playing basketball again. After a couple weeks she started feeling the pain again. This time she seen a different doctor, and was told that the surgery wasn’t properly done, and gotten nerve damage and arthritis from it going untreated. Eventually she had another surgery in 2012, and was told she could never play sports again, and lost a scholarship to play basketball. That didn’t stop her after recovery from the surgery Tianna went to college, got a degree in Criminal Justice and lived her life. Tianna started getting the pain back but the doctors are hopeful. Tianna now can barely walk, she can’t work, and struggles with the pain every day. She now needs a third back surgery. This surgery is classified as experimental so insurance won’t cover it. So my goal is to raise the money for her so she can be pain free. So she can wake up every morning smile that she is going to have an amazing day. The surgery will cost 35,000. I’m asking for any help and your prayers, so we can give her a little hope.
