Hello, my name is Tianna Manon and I am a student journalist in Rochester, NY. I am currently double-majoring in Journalism and Political Science, and double minoring in Writing Studies and Urban Studies, at Rochester Institute of Technology. I currently hold a 4.0 cumulative GPA

I am interested in becoming a political journalist and have applied for the Institute of Political Journalism in Washington, D.C. For $8,000 plus the cost of transportation I can attend classes for transferable credit, seminars with some of the best political journalists, network with other aspiring journalists, get an actual political internship to apply what I am learning, and finally get to know the beautiful city that I would like to eventually make my home.
