Tiandria's Return to School Fund

I have just completed my first semester at Spelman College, and honestly it was the best four months I have had so far. I am extremely excited for the upcoming semester. Spelman popped into my life out of nowhere. However, when I went on a college tour in 9th grade. I instantly fell in love. I knew that I had to get there. During 11th grade my mentor who is a Spelman grad started taking me to campus for actual events. I got to hear stories about the Spelman Experience from my mentor and the women I got to meet inspired me again. I knew I had to work extra hard so that I could experience the wonderful things they talked about. After all of my hard work, praying, and trying to stay calm while waiting for a letter in the mail, I received my accpetance letter April 3, 2014. My first semester at Spelman was more than I imagined. I have met some of the most amazing people and learned so many things in only 4 months. I am pursing a degree in biology to eventually have a career in medicine. I would like to continue my journey at Spelman, however, I have an outstanding balance of $6,000. I cannot return back to school until I have at least $5,000 paid. Unfortunately, I do not have that kind of money right now. Which is why I am asking you to invest in my education. I am personally promising you that it would be a great investment. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have until January 23rd to get my balance down.  Thank you!,
