Help the Jones

At only 35 years old, our dear friend and colleague Chris Jones has been diagnosed with Cancer. Close friends have decided to create a Go Fund Me page to help assist with the financial strain this has put on his family. Chris lives in an isolated area, Chemo treatment can be done locally, however radiation and surgery can only be done in St. John’s, NL, thus incurring extra expenses. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, his wife Cora had to leave her work to help care for Chris full-time at home. As Chris has strict limitations, for instance; he is currently unable to even lift his beautiful 1 year old son Maverick due to a recent surgery over the holiday season. There is a Silver lining….a week before they found out about Chris’s health, they found out they are expecting baby #2 this Summer!!!! However this exciting news also limits Cora’s ability to assist with Chris, as she needs to care for her health too. The idea of raising money for our friends, is to help assist with the hiring of companies like: snow removal, child care, house cleaning, grass cutting and extra expenses for trips to St. John’s and preparing for baby #2.
